At this workshop you’ll gain an insight into the value that adopting DevOps processes can bring to your business, and the latest tools available to help you achieve continuous delivery and compliance.
Giles Davies, Azure Application Development Technology Specialist at Microsoft will cover the recent rebranding of Visual Studio Team Services to Azure DevOps, and the impact of this beyond branding. He’ll also walk attendees through a step by step demo on how to use Azure DevOps to deliver continuously and how to use new Azure DevOps features like Projects to create new pipelines quickly and easily. He will also give some insight into Microsoft’s own journey into DevOps and continuous delivery.
Ensuring that your code is secure should be an inherent part of your DevOps processes. Martin Callinan and Paul McAdam from Source Code Control will discuss how DevOps can affect the value of a business, and the importance of employing best practice to manage the Software Supply Chain and practising continuous compliance. They will also demo how to integrate software composition analysis tools like those provided by Flexera into Azure DevOps environments.
