Another Successful Cyber Essentials Certification
News|30 September 2020
It seems that every day another cyber threat rears its head; from individual phishing attacks to entire sectors being threatened, organisations of all shapes and sizes need to ensure business continuity isn’t at risk. Thankfully, we’re pleased to say that, once again, we have successfully passed the Government-backed Cyber Essentials assessment.
“Our customers not only look to Grey Matter for cyber security advice, they also want to know they’re partnering with a company that takes its own security seriously,” said Matthew Whitton, Grey Matter’s MD. “Another successful Cyber Essentials shows our customers and partners they’re in safe hands with Grey Matter”.
What is Cyber Essentials?
Cyber Essentials is a Government-backed scheme that helps guard against the most common cyber threats and demonstrates a commitment to cyber security. Certification gives peace of mind that defences will protect against the vast majority of common cyber-attacks simply because these attacks are looking for targets which do not have the Cyber Essentials technical controls in place.
