Cloud Enablement

Kick-start your cloud experience

Learn more about the benefits of using the cloud and the fundamentals of deploying your applications on Microsoft Azure.

Our Azure Workshops have been created to help developers that want to modernise their applications. If you’ve been used to developing deployments for on-premises and want to understand how cloud platforms like Azure differ, this workshop is a great way to gain an insight into what it’s like to deploy to the cloud. In this workshop we’ll also cover how security works in the cloud with a session from Barracuda, and best practice for secure code in Azure with a session from Source Code Control.

Learn how to deliver your projects in a way that will make them easily scalable, readily accessible, and more profitable, as well as completely secure.

Content covered will include:

  • An introduction to Azure
  • Azure portal and marketplace
  • SQL on Azure
  • Containerisation and Azure Kubernetes Services
  • Azure Web App and Azure SQL deployment using web deploy
  • Security in the cloud with Barracuda

When you start deploying on Azure, you start reaping the benefits of more agile deployments, gain access to a versatile range of developer tools, and the ability to more easily manage resources.
