O&O Defrag features full automatic disk defragmentation and advanced settings for power users and businesses to ensure sustainable and maximum performance for any computer. A regular defragmentation protects the mechanical parts of a PC, extends the lifespan of the hardware and can even help rescue data in an emergency as data recovery programs can reconstruct intact and whole files much easier than files that are spread in fragments.

During the defragmentation process, a dynamic block view is displayed, and with help from a before-and-after view, the user can clearly see how much their system is being optimised.
