What's new in Nevron Chart for .NET 2012.1

• ThinWeb Chart Control - a new AJAX-based web control that is completely HTML/JavaScript based. Features simple integration with ASP.NET WebForms and MVC, cross-browser compatibility and a Model-View-Controller architecture (available in Enterprise edition only).
• Custom series - new series type for painting custom graphics in 2D Cartesian, Polar and Radar charts.
• Custom painting in overlay - custom graphics can be painted in a separate layer over the chart control without requiring the chart contents to be repainted.
• Triangulated surface simplification - the Triangulated Surface series features a data resampling algorithm that is able to significantly reduce the amount of rendered geometry and in the same time preserve the appearance of the surface close to the original.
• Data import from CSV - the control supports direct import from CSV (Comma-Separated Values) files and streams.
• Data import from Excel - the control supports direct import from Excel files in XLS and XLSX file formats.
• Data point anchor for pie charts - a new type of anchor object allows for annotations and other panels to be attached to data points of a pie chart.
• Radar axis titles - Radar Axis Titles are significantly improved and contain many new options for label positioning, layout and wrapping.
• Performance improvements - features numerous performance improvements and optimisations.

• ThinWeb Diagram Control - a new AJAX-based web control that is completely HTML/JavaScript based. Comes with cross-browser support, simple integration with ASP.NET WebForms and MVC and a Model-View-Controller architecture. With this new control you can generate interactive image maps that can redirect the browser to a specified URL, handle client-side events, generate server-side and postback events, zoom, scroll and pan diagrams and more (Enterprise edition only).

• New NFolderLookup control - shows a dialog that allows the user to select a folder.
• NTabControl and NTabStrip - both controls can now display the close button on each tab by setting ShowCloseOnEachTab and HasClose properties to true.
• NDockingToolbar - the default commands in the NDockingToolbar context menu can be customised.
• NContextMenu - the user can set a different Font property for each command in the content menu.
• NComboBox - the control has been extended to support empty strings.
• NMdiChild - NMdiChild control has new property RestoreBounds which keeps the restore bounds of the control when it was minimised/maximised and then restored.
• Speed and memory optimisations - all controls have been optimised for speed and memory usage in this version.
