Product Information

MindManager 9 for Mac enables you to visually organise your thoughts and communicate your ideas using easy to create mind maps on your Mac. Simply start with a central topic that can have limitless other topics branching off it. The easy-to-use interface will be instantly familiar to Mac users and helps you to take advantage of the power of mind maps and use advanced features such as task and event creation capabilities that automatically sync your tasks between iCal or Entourage. Version 9 of MindManager for Mac comes with a variety of new features including a built-in slide presentation mode for your maps, a quick entry feature, WYSIWYG printing, enhanced performance and much more.

What's new in Mindjet MindManager 9 for Mac

Slide presentations - Present mind maps in a slide show presentation. Choose each topic, select the order desired and adjust the level of information displayed depending on your audience - without having to create multiple versions. Even incorporate feedback while you present.

Quick entry mode - Easily and quickly capture ideas and information via the quick entry mode. It helps to ensure information gets retained for later organisation, prioritisation and analysis.

Improved import and export - Take advantage of in-product compatibility with Microsoft Office Mac 2011 and iWork applications, when you’re offline, thanks to integrated (local) import/export. Import content from Microsoft Word and Apple iWork Pages so you can work with all relevant data in a single visual environment and then export content to Word, Pages, Keynote and various other formats for your final output.

WYSIWYG printing - Print the entire map on a single page with topic notes. If you have created slides of your map, each slide that you create can also be printed.

Import from Freemind - Quickly import your Freemind maps to MindManager allowing Freemind users to expand beyond basic mapping.

Improved filtering and select - More easily filter and select map attributes with tool tips, rules and support for map file-based saved queries which allows you to save filter criteria for future use.

New images and styles - New business-oriented images and styles help to enhance presentations and provide more context to maps.

Updated map markers - All map markers and icons have been refreshed to match MindManager for Windows so users working across both platforms will have a more consistent user experience.

Improved performance - Improved application performance increases the fluidity and speed of creating a map.

Improved menu options - The text formatting toolbar now resembles the iWork formatting toolbar, topic notes can be formatted in-context of the notes area and inspectors have been modified for improved usability - plus you can also open multiple inspectors to improve overall efficiency.

Improved template chooser - Easily browse and access new map templates, styles and recent maps.
