MindManager 2012 is a powerful mind mapping tool for capturing and organising ideas and information. Start with a central topic and branch off into limitless other topics. Collect information and data from a range of sources including the Web, corporate databases, Office and Sharepoint - all onto a single map. Then add hyperlinks, notes, attachments, to-do actions, images and more. MindManager 2012 comes with a whole host of improvements including a new guided brainstorming mode to help stimulate your ideas, a new marker index that displays a real-time view of all markers in your map to aid navigation, built-in integration with Microsoft Sharepoint, a new analysis view and much more.

Guided brainstorming
A new three step process helps guide you through your brainstorming sessions:
- Step 1 - define the problems you are trying to solve - use a range of pre-defined questions to clarify your goals
- Step 2 - inspire and generate ideas - new brainstorming flash cards help you look at problems in new ways
- Step 3 - categorise and refine - use predefined mind map branches to categorise, sort and refine your ideas.
New Marker Index
Generate an indexable, searchable list of your mind map content based on the text and icon markers you are using in your mind maps. Then easily navigate across mind maps using any of the marked topics in the index and even copy the marker index list into emails or other documents to easily communicate key content.
Integration with SharePoint - now included
Easily access assets that are stored on one or more Microsoft Sharepoint sites from directly within your mind maps. Plus take advantage of easy-to-use wizards to setup consolidated views for tasks, documents, issues, calendar items, images and custom lists.
Enhanced task management
Now it's easier to sort, filter and manage tasks. Use new task filters to see your past, due and upcoming tasks, sort branches by task fields and export task lists to Microsoft Excel for reporting.
Analysis view
Prioritise and categorise your mapped topics using the new analysis view. It enables you to place topics into a predefined series of 2x2 analytics charts such as cost vs. opportunity, urgent vs important, SWOT and others.
Enhanced hyperlinks and browsing
In MindManager 2012 you can assign multiple hyperlinks per topic. Plus the embedded browser now has a new right click menu that makes it easy to send images, selected text or an entire page to your map as topics.
Enhancements to Gantt Charts
Drag and drop topics onto Gantt Charts to instantly make them tasks. Print Gantt Charts more easily with a new print preview and the ability to select a specific date range for printing.
Easier to get started
A series of videos are now included along with text guides to help new users through the basic tasks required to create mind maps.
Improved Ribbon UI
The updated Home tab now contains all the most commonly used MindManager functions and more advanced functions are grouped in more intuitive categories on other tabs.
New templates
36 new templates are included along with an online gallery and selected content from the 'Maps for That!' community site.
