New Features
New conversation view
Outlook 2010 introduces a new conversation view so you can more easily view and manage multiple related emails. Emails get intelligently grouped based on subject which can result in saving valuable space in your inbox. Additionally you can hide conversations you aren't interested in by ignoring all past and future emails with that subject.
New Quick Steps functionality
Group actions together and save them as a custom action which can be run with one click. For example set up an action to create an email to an assigned group.
Improved scheduling
New email calendaring means you can send an email schedule of your calendar to others so they can see your future appointments. The enhanced schedule view can now display multiple calendars horizontally and you can now save groups of calendars together so they can quickly be redisplayed.
New MailTips
New MailTips helps to ensure you are sending emails to the correct people. They can alert you when you send an email to a large distribution list, someone who is out of the office or to an email addresses outside your company.
New social connector
Connect to the most popular social and business networks directly from within Outlook 2010. Access everything from email threads to status updates in one single view. Connect to SharePoint, Linkedin, myspace and more.
New graphic tools
Now you can add Office themes, styles, SmartArt graphics and more directly to your Outlook emails.
Improved multi-account support
Synchronise multiple e-mail accounts from services such as Hotmail, Gmail, or just about any other provider to Outlook 2010.
Voice mail transcription
Together with Exchange Server 2010, Outlook 2010 can display voice mail transcripts directly in your Outlook inbox.
