LMD-Tools is a comprehensive set of VCL(.NET) components for Delphi and C++Builder. The suite includes over 430 components including advanced user interface (UI) components, file and database handling components, internet and web components, multimedia components, RichEdit components and much more. The majority of the components have support for transparency and font and background effects. Additionally LMD-Tools is easy to learn as a common object model is shared between the controls reducing the learning curve and speeding up development time.

Updates in LMD-Tools 9

• Support for Delphi and C++Builder 2009
• Support dropped for Delphi and C++Builder 5/6 and Delphi 8 (licenses for older releases are, however, included). This equates to improved performance as legacy code has been removed
• LMD Hint Controls got a massive Update in technical (-> drawing mechanism, e.g. using regions ) and functional way (e.g. many new visual styles and HTML support). Besides that a new advanced HintSystem for displaying any number of hints was introduced.
• Support of Vista features - even in IDEs before Delphi/C++ 2009! Use TLMDVistaFormExtension, TLMDFormGlass, TLMDFileOpen- and TLMDFileSaveDialog to add features not available in older Delphi/C++ releases. Besides that methods for Vista and Aero Glass detection are provided.
• Improved ThemeEngine support
• LMD-Tools contains new additional packages: InspectorPack which provides powerful object inspection, PlugInPack to provide a plugin infrastructure for your projects and LogTools for creating advanced logging services.
• Validator, XML and regular expression support
• Native PNG and TLMDBitmap support, compression formats
