The next generation of Intel VTune Performance Analyzer, Intel VTune Amplifier XE is part of Intel Parallel Studio XE, the all-in-one parallel processing software for serial and parallel C/C++ applications.

VTune Amplifer XE supports compilers from any vendor that follow platform standards including Microsoft, GCC and Intel.
High compatibility
Choose either the Windows or Linux version for profiling on Windows 7, Vista, XP, Windows Server, RHEL, Fedora and SUSE. The Windows version integrates into Microsoft Visual Studio 2005, 2008 and 2010 or can be run standalone.
No root privileges required for Linux version
VTune Amplifer XE for Linux does not require root privileges for basic performance security analysis.
Works on both Intel and non-Intel processors
Many of VTune Amplifer XE's features work on both Intel and other compatible processors. Results can be saved and analysed on any compatible processor but some on-chip performance monitoring features do require a genuine Intel processor for data collection.
