FLEXnet InstallShield Collaboration is the first product of its kind to address the urgent need for collaboration between application and installation developers throughout the development process. Collaboration standardizes the capture of installation requirements, enabling the installation designer to consume the requirements for higher-quality, error-free setups.

Using FLEXnet InstallShield Collaboration's Visual Studio or Eclipse plug-in, application developers can specify installation requirements as they code in a platform-neutral, XML-structured file that can be shared, tested or consumed. The installation developer then uses this file to automatically populate the installation with the most up-to-date application data. FLEXnet InstallShield Collaboration enables higher-quality installations, on-time product deliveries, less confusion among team members, and ultimately, higher customer satisfaction.

Note: One license of FLEXnet InstallShield Collaboration is included with every Premier or Professional version of FLEXnet InstallShield 11.5 Windows or MultiPlatform. Additional Collaboration Modules are available for purchase for the rest of the team.
