ComponentOne Web Parts for SharePoint are licenced per each Web Frontend Server. There are three price levels, the price level you purchase in is dictated by the number of users accessing SharePoint content. The levels are as follows:
- Small Business: 1 - 499 SharePoint users
- Corporate: 500 - 2500 SharePoint users
- Enterprise: 2501+ SharePoint users
For example: if you have 3 SharePoint servers, 2 of which are forward facing (web frontends), you have 1000 SharePoint users and you wish to purchase ComponentOne DataGrid for SharePoint then you would need to purchase 2 new licences of DataGrid for SharePoint, Corporate edition (either Standard or Platinum - depending on the support levels you require - see below).
The SharePoint Web Parts are subscription based - with the subscription lasting for 1 year from the date of purchase and includes email and online support. Platinum support, which includes unlimited telephone support for one year, and faster responses, is an additional cost.
