1Way is an ActiveX control which provides an easy and secure way to create a time-limited trial version of your application. You can then generate a serial number (also called a registration key) to register it. There is an (optional) secure online registration system, which is very simple to set up on your own website. This allows you to limit the number of computers which can use a particular serial number and track serial usage. There is a high level of security throughout. Strong encryption (AES 256-bit), SHA-256 hashes, and data redundancy are used for all saved information.
