All editions of ImagXpress use the same set of DLLs, .NET controls, and COM controls. Access to specific functions is determined by your registration license. ImagXpress Standard and ImagXpress View contain subsets of the features provided in ImagXpress Document. ImagXpress Photo unlocks all of the functionality delivered in this powerful SDK.
ImagXpress Photo is ideal for the development of photo management software, online photo services, kiosk applications, and more. It delivers vendor-specific Camera RAW and Pegasus Imaging's JPEG file support. .NET and COM developers can build applications with image viewing, editing, clean up, thumbnail image support, auto red eye removal, alpha channel support, auto color level, auto contrast, image filtering, EXIF tag editing, color matching, color space conversion, photo collage layout and printing, color image deskew, dust/scratch removal, removal, file format conversion, compression, and more. ImagXpress Document is ideal for powerful document imaging and forms processing application development. As a .NET and COM toolkit, it delivers single and multi-page TIFF support, embedded-image PDF support, TIFF tag handling, EXIF tag handling, file conversion, and support for 1 to 16-bit images. Build applications displaying documents and thumbnail images with fine details enhanced. ImagXpress Document provides sophisticated TWAIN scanning support, image editing and clean up (including image binarization, thresholding, anti-aliasing, deskew, despeckle, line removal, hole punch removal, blank page detection, scale to gray, save as grayscale, crop, rotate, scale, zoom), annotation/redaction capabilities, and advanced printing capabilities beyond Internet Explorer.
ImagXpress View is ideal for applications requiring only image viewing and printing features, when saving images is not required. Designed to serve "view only" imaging requirements, developers can rapidly build applications to view and print images including annotations. Users may view multi-page TIFF and embedded-image PDFs. ImagXpress View includes all the viewing features of ImagXpress Document.
