Job Title

Senior Marketing Executive - Reporting to Head of Marketing

Job Purpose

  • To work closely with both internal departments and software suppliers, to help create, plan and deliver marketing activities to deadlines, delivering a high level of customer satisfaction

Decision Making

The Job involves a high level of decision making at an individual customer and contract level. Problems should be referred to a manager. Little to no supervision is necessary

Key Accountabilities:

  • Assisting in creating and delivering software publisher marketing plans
  • Assisting in preparing & delivering Grey Matter marketing activities
  • Creation and distribution of digital marketing communication to customers. (including email, eNewsletters, social media, blog posts, thought leadership pieces etc)
  • Responsible for creating, reviewing & maintaining website copy
  • Market & audience research
  • Organising internal and external events including training days, talks, conferences
  • Lead generation activity

Demands:

  • Working in a high pressured environment to deadlines and prioritising workflow
  • Office based role, requiring concentration for periods which can be in excess of two hours
  • Assist colleagues when they are under pressure
  • Some travel may be required

Experience, Knowledge and Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years B2B experience, preferably in a software or technology environment
  • Experience of content marketing and seeding content through social channels
  • Experience of increasing engagement with content via social channels
  • Lead generation and social media marketing
  • Experience of dealing with multiple stakeholders to deliver results

Skills and Technical competencies:

  • Accurate record keeping skills to deadlines
  • Planning and organisational skills
  • Creativity
  • Flexibility
  • Literacy skills are required including spelling, grammar and punctuation for emails and other communications
