Primavera P6 Professional Project Management (PPM) and P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management (EPPM) are similar products. Both are industry leading project management tools. PPM is purely Windows based whereas EPPM adds a browser (web access) interface for administrative, collaborative and viewing tasks. EPPM is therefore better suited for larger projects and grouping multiple projects. The web based tools in EPPM include dashboards, pivot tables and additional functionality for risk mitigation. Both products require a database for storing project data and if required, project methodology assets such as templates.
Primavera Risk Analysis provides tools for anticipating, mitigating and providing response and contingency plans against project risks. The 'risk adjusted schedule' allows you to determine confidence levels for a project's success together with responses. It provides an objective view of required contingency to account for cost and schedule uncertainty as well as analysing the cost effectiveness of responses.
