DbMAP ASJ [2.x Win32]
JAVA Applets:
- Display raster images
- Draw objects based on selections from ORACLE® 9i Spatial/Locator table.
- Edit or create objects, and save them in ORACLE® 9i Spatial/Locator tables.
- Perform overview, pan and zoom, layers on/off, change display parameters, themes, etc.
JAVA Servlets:
- Send the Applets a list of the vectors displayed when a selection from an Oracle Spatial/Locator table is performed (ORACLE connection from server side only).
- Send compressed, mosaiced rasters to Applets
- Provide clients with sections of AutoCAD (DWG) drawings and GeoTIFF file as requested.
JAVA developers can also:
- Develop new Applets fully integrated in DbMAP ASJ.
- Modify satellite Applets supplied with DbMAP ASJ - source code is include.

DbMAP ASJ development is performed with a J2EE compatible server such as JDeveloper from ORACLE®. This fully-integrated development environment gives the programmer full control over the GIS data and web interaction from within the ORACLE database.
- Server: Compatible J2EE server (with JAVA Servlet support), ORACLE® 9i Spatial/Locator.
- Client: JAVA compatible browser, like Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator.
