Improved Scenario Status Information
WANSync 4.0 significantly improves the display of status information for the common case of a one-to-one replication scenario, graphically depicting state, replication direction and spool usage information. In addition, expanded information may now be viewed for multiple scenarios through the addition of customizable columns.
Ability to Apply Changes to Multiple Scenarios Simultaneously
If you are running WANSync on many servers, it will generally be true that a change needed in one scenario will probably have to be made in several or many others as well. WANSync 4.0 now provides the ability to apply configuration changes to many scenarios at once, rather than requiring that the change be made over and over to each one individually.
Assessment Mode to Determine Exact Bandwidth Required
Estimating the bandwidth required to replicate changes on your servers is a key and often difficult step in determining the infrastructure required to support your disaster recovery capability. With WANSync 4.0, the task becomes easy. Simply install WANSync on the server to be protected and start it in assessment mode. WANSync will measure the actual data changes occurring on the system to report precisely how much will be transferred when actual replication starts.
