Macromedia Flash uses TrueType fonts, but in smaller sizes, these fonts can look fuzzy (see example at right). FontFlasher converts almost any format font into a pixelfonts – crisp outline fonts that simulate bitmaps. This improves legibility of screen text in small font sizes.

Import format: Any format that can be rendered by the OS (including TrueType, Type 1, OpenType and bitmap formats)

Export Format: FontLab VFB. Requires FontLab or TypeTool to generate font in TrueType or Type 1 format.

Software requirements:

For Windows version: Microsoft Windows (95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP).
For Mac version: Mac OS 9.2+ with CarbonLib 1.6+ or Mac OS X (10.3 or higher recommended).
