Some input devices can be rotated along their axis and with rotation-sensitivity your Cintiq can recognise this rotation and transform it in some applications (such as Painter 9) into rotating brush strokes.
Tool ID
With Tool ID each Cintiq 21UX input device can be individually programmed and configured for each application. And these functions are automatically activated as soon as the application starts.
ExpressKeys
The ExpressKeys are a set of buttons located on both sides of the tablet. Assign your favourite keys or macros to these buttons and start to forget your keyboard.
Touch Strip
The Touch Strip allows you to use your finger directly on the tablet similar to a notebooks' touchpad. Zoom in and out within your image or scroll in text documents or PDF editors with a single sweep of your finger.

Compatible with Intuos3
The Cintiq 21UX utilises the very same technology that has been used successfully in the Intuos3 pen tablet series. That is why Cintiq can call the same features such as Tool ID, tilt and rotation-sensitivty its own. Additionally, you can use all Intuos3 input devices with your Cintiq.

Higher video resolution
Thanks to the larger screen size of about 21 inch, the video resolution has been increased to the UXGA standard of 1,600 x 1,200 pixels. The flat drawing surface and the minimised distance between pen tip and display allows you to work very naturally with the Cintiq 21UX
