VBAcodePrint add-in enables you to print the VBA source code in color of your applications across the entire Microsoft Office 2000 suite of applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint, and FrontPage. Since VBAcodePrint is implemented as an add-in, you can print the source code without leaving the Visual Basic development environment.

VBAcodePrint is designed for everybody using VBA from novices to experts. VBAcodePrint's color coded printouts are ideal for learning Visual Basic, documenting VBA projects, debugging and supporting complex systems developed using VBA, code Inspections, submitting projects to tutors and/or clients.

The output is fully customizable enabling professional looking color coded output to be generated which can be exported to files with Rich Text Format(RTF), HTML and Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) formats.


VBAcodePrint supports customization of:
  • Page Layout - Print in portrait or landscape page orientation, multiple columns, page and/or column borders, single/double sided printing, page margins.
  • Page Headers and Footers - Include and set font attributes for project name, component name, project version, printed date, printed time and page number on each page.
  • Line Numbering - Each source code line can be numbered. Line numbering can be continuous, reset at the end of each page or procedure. Line number interval can also be set.
  • Syntax Highlighting - Set font attributes for comments, constants, identifiers, keywords, strings, line numbers, procedure headers and project information.
  • Connection Lines - Visual Basic paired statement constructs (For … Next etc.) can be printed with connecting lines to clarify code block structure.
  • Comments Alignment - Comments can be indented to align with the source code. End of line comments can be vertically aligned to a column number.
  • What can be Printed - You can print declarations, selection, procedure, component or set of components, project or set of projects. You can also print selected procedures, components using Windows explorer like control.
  • Procedure Index - Print an index of all the procedures in the project that shows the component name, page number of their declaration and where they are referenced.
  • Table of Contents - A table of contents can be included in the printouts.
  • Procedure Separator - Each procedure can be separated by a very thin horizontal line or printed on a new page.
  • Avoid Procedure Splitting - You can avoid procedures from splitting over a page boundary.
  • Sort Components and Procedures - You can control the order of printing of components and members in a component.
  • Export Output - The output can be exported to HTML, RTF and PDF formats.
  • Auto Indent - The printed source code can be indented and the indent size can be specified.
  • Monochrome Printing - Monochrome printing is supported.
  • Print Quality - Print quality can be set to draft, low, medium or high.
  • Line Spacing - Line spacing can be set to half, single, one & half double.
  • Output Scaling - The output can be scaled if the printer supports it.
  • Watermarks - User defined watermark bitmaps can be included on every printed page
  • Coversheets - User defined coversheet can be included in your printouts.
  • Bitmaps - You can include bitmaps in the printouts and screenshots of forms.
