Publish applications and Desktops
2X ApplicationServer allows you to publish particular applications installed on a Terminal Server onto the desktop of a remote user. For example you can tunnel just an accounts package onto a user’s local desktop without giving the user access to a full desktop or publish a full desktop as an application on the Terminal Server.
Seamless integration with local desktop & taskbar
To the user the remote application appears exactly like a local application. Remotely hosted applications will automatically show up in the local task bar and/or on the desktop. If your users minimise a remote application, the application minimises to the local taskbar. You can also copy and paste between local and remote applications too.
Publish applications based on username, group membership or IP
Since 2X ApplicationServer integrates with Active Directory, you can easily control which users get which applications. When configuring an application to be tunneled, simply specify which users, groups, organisational units or IPs the application should be tunneled to. Integration with 2X LoadBalancer farms
2X ApplicationServer now integrates fully with 2X Loadbalancer, allowing publishing of applications on Terminal Server farms and SSL secure connectivity for clients accessing Applications remotely
Universal Printing
2X ApplicationServer now incorporates a Universal Printer driver, eliminating the need to manage and install printer drivers on your Terminal Server. The user can print either to their default locally attached printer or have the document displayed in a PDF reader such as Acrobat Reader.
Automatic Redundancy
Automated redundancy of the Publishing agent, now allows for multiple backup ApplicationServers to be in place, in case of failure or the need to take the primary machine offline. Any machine can be promoted to the Master in the event of the master machine no longer being available. This teamed with the ability to install multiple client gateways provides a totally redundant solution for your Enterprise
Associated File Extensions
Allows the Administrator to register specific file extensions to a published application, this enables the user to open a file from his local drive (requires Windows 2003 to support drive redirection) and to run and display it in the published application.
Publish Windows applications onto Linux
All popular Linux distributions are supported, as well as 2X PXES & 2X ThinClientServer
Publish applications to Web interface
Applications can be published to a web page, allowing users to launch applications from a web browser. The 2X client can be installed directly from the web page as well.

With the 2X ApplicationServer client, you can publish any Windows application onto Mac's
Small Business Edition
This version is for 1 terminal server, and supports unlimited concurrent connections for that server.
Enterprise Edition
Supports multiple terminal servers with unlimited connections per terminal server, also incorporates LoadBalancer.
Both versions are also available including the 2X printing solution (PRN).
