Visual Lint is a plug-in product for Microsoft Visual Studio and eMbedded Visual C++ which closely integrates the industry standard Gimpel PC-Lint C/C++ code analysis tool within the Visual Studio development environment.
Although PC-Lint does a great job of analysing source files for potential problems, it is a generic cross-platform tool and as such its integration within development environments is extremely limited. Visual Lint goes far beyond this by providing automated source code analysis and easy to interpret analysis results displays.
Visual Lint supports Visual C++ 6.0, eMbedded Visual C++ 4.0, Visual Studio .NET 2002, Visual Studio .NET 2003, Visual Studio 2005 and Visual Studio 2008, and is in use with developers and companies worldwide.
