Updated ISIS Library
ISIS Xpress Version 3 is updated to include the most recent ISIS PixTools library available from EMC Corporation (Version 8).
Multistreaming Support
Take full advantage of scanners supporting multistream technology Simultaneously output multiple images from a single scan (any two combination of color, grayscale and/or bitonal) Multistreaming of images is scanner-dependent. There are two methods for capturing multiple images:
1. Duplex - Scans both front and back.
2. Multistreaming - Outputs two images from the same side. Multistreaming with duplex yields four images (two front and two back).
Scanning modes could include full-color, black-and-white, grayscale, binary or RGB color dropout. Using these modes and multistreaming, a user could simultaneously acquire a color image and a grayscale image of one source page.
