Hard Drive Cloning
Cloning hard drives, as well as providing an alternative method of hard drive backups for security purposes, is of great use when setting up similar computers. Perfect Image can successfully transfer all on-disk information, including standard bootstrap code and other system service structures, for maintaining the operating system’s functionality. Perfect Image provides a full set of cloning options, including:
- Clone all sectors or perform an incremental clone
- Remove free blocks between partitions
- Clone data and resize partitions proportionally
- Perform surface test scans
- Verify integrity of the new copy
