EMC Insignia Solution for Exchange enables SMBs to quickly implement a business-class Exchange storage and protection strategy without straining budgets or IT resources. The solution is available in Fibre Channel or iSCSI configurations and includes the following components: EMC CLARiiON AX150 dual controller (iSCSI or Fibre Channel) with five 500-GB SATA II drives; Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) for CLARiiON AX150; EMC Retrospect 7.5 for Windows Single Server Edition backup and recovery software; EMC Retrospect Exchange Server Agent add-on; one year of 9x5 technical support and software updates. The AX150 provides reliable, scalable storage for Exchange data and a fast, flexible, and cost-effective destination for Exchange backups. To guard against hardware failure, virus, user error, or site disaster, Retrospect protects 24x7 Exchange servers while they are online and can restore data down to the message level. Backups are stored on the AX150 for fast local restores. For archiving and disaster recovery, tape copies can be easily created and encrypted for secure offsite storage.
