EMC® Storage Administrator for Exchange SMB Edition storage management software enables small and medium businesses to configure and manage storage for Microsoft Exchange data on an EMC CLARiiON AX series dual controller disk array without requiring storage expertise. Operating as a plug-in to Exchange System Manager, it automatically allocates and tunes storage for optimal performance using Microsoft and EMC best practices. Keep Exchange servers highly available by sharing your CLARiiON AX series disk array between two Exchange servers. If one server fails, the other assumes all e-mail services in minutes without requiring cluster technology. Streamline migration from Exchange 2000 to Exchange 2003 with just a few mouse clicks.

  • Storage Administrator supports all iSCSI and Fibre Channel dual-SP EMC CLARiiON AX arrays.
  • Any switch supported by EMC CLARiiON AX arrays is also supported by Storage Administrator-ensure that the switch is in the EMC Support Matrix, available online from EMC at http://www.emc.com/interoperability/
