Use JPIP technology
Support for the JPIP protocol, a compression streaming protocol that works with JPEG 2000 to produce an image using the least bandwidth required. This protocol is very useful in applications such as medical imaging where only a portion of an entire image is requested to be transferred.
Work easily with SVG
Additional functionality around Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG), an XML markup language for describing two-dimensional vector graphics. Version 15 products support rendering solid 3D vector data with adjustable lighting as well as wireframe 3D vector data with no lighting. In addition, developers can create applications that both read and write to SVG.
Use OCR for PDF text
The ability to convert scanned pages into PDF-searchable text by applying optical character recognition (OCR) to the text images and converting them into normal text.
Add robust annotation
Additional flexible annotation marks, including text, line, freehand polyline, rectangle, ellipse, polygon, polyline, audio, image, ruler, protractor, encryption, button, hot spot and rich text. Version 15 also includes the ability to import and export these marks to XML files.
Easily annotate PDFs
Additional PDF annotations, such as free text, polygon, polyline, square, circle, line and links to another page in the document.
Advanced color handling of PDFs
The capability to turn on/off CMYK channels as well as Pantone spot colors in a PDF document.
Powerful CAD integration
Enhanced support for the standard CAD drawing file format, DWG, and its ASCII variant, DXF. Also, support for the R16 version of AutoCAD's DWG and DXF drawing format & the ability to write as well as read these file types. Developers can create cost-effective applications that allow users to annotate and collaborate with CAD drawings without the need to purchase a CAD software package.
Use more file formats
Support for reading additional file formats, including HPGL, DGN, and writing to CGM.
Work with more RAW camera files
Support for loading raw file formats for over 90 different digital cameras. New cameras supported in release 15 include the following:

This is the base-level support option and is included in the purchase price of AccuSoft's toolkit products. Users register to receive a user name and password, which provides access to this secure support section of our Web site. Preferred support is entirely Web-based and customer-driven with access to updates and fixes limited to version-specific items only.
Preferred Support includes:
- Electronic submission of product problems and questions, and the ability to update and track the progress of your case
- Up-to-date knowledge databases for our products that provide answers and fixes to commonly asked questions and problems
- Access to AccuSoft's support forums
- Comprehensive product documentation including the latest guides and manuals, technical bulletins, flashes, and release notes
- Product fixes, release and maintenance information
- Preferred Support provides access to ALL patches, fixes, updates, enhancements (including new versions/releases) that may be issued to the licensed product during your support term. Preferred support is entirely Web-based.
Premier Support
The Premier Support option provides a more personalized service level, and ensures prompt access to our expert technical support analysts.
Included are all of the Preferred Support services as well as access to AccuSoft's Customer Support Department during normal business hours (Monday thru Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. EST (except on designated holidays). Premier Support is pro-active, with personalized contact via any/all methods (Web, email, phone, etc.) and includes all updates to new versions or releases.
