Active Mail is a powerful suite of .NET components that provide users with an extensive set of email tools and features. Active Mail enables users to send templated and merged (databound) emails with optional queuing. It provides the capability to validate, receive, and parse messages using multiple protocols such as SMTP, IMAP4, POP3 and NNTP. Active Mail is not just another emailing suite. It comes with real innovations such as a templating feature that allows the end users of your application to modify all of the parameters of the email(s) to be sent. All email parameters are maintained in a text or XML configuration file, which the component loads and integrates upon execution. Advanced mail merge features allow the developer to bind with nearly every valid data source. This functionality, combined with templating, is unique and powerful. Active Mail also supports standard queuing services like Microsoft SMTP Service and IpSwitch iMail Spool. ActiveMail can be also powered by ActiveQ, our mail queuing and scheduling Windows service.
